Hi, I replaced the battery on my IPhone 2g (all unlocked and up to date firmware) and it all worked fine for a day but when i woke up the next morning and took the IPhone off charge it had a picture of a battery and a red line through it and i could not turn the IPhone on? After awhile of scratching my head i decided to remove the battery and resolder it. i then plugged it into my computer and it asked to connect to ITunes which i did then ITunes found the IPhone so i tried to restore the IPhone. It started restoring and i thought it wad sorted but 3/4 of the way through restoring it crashed and brought up a code of 1011 and that's as far as i can get the IPhone to go? Its Doing my head in!
I cant turn the IPhone on it only works when i plug it in and i also tested the battery and it seems to keep over 3 volts in it?
    What to do next?
    Cheers.

Do you still have your baseband?
    Is it an official battery?
Try to restore with your old battery in.
