Hi guys, can anyone help me make my iPod Touch 1G usable again?
I'm using a 2G one, but I've decided to bury out my 1G and install android on it.
Everything went smooth as silk, but iTunes wasn't detecting my iPod at all, I got in recovery mode and tried to restore it, but I kept getting "An unknown error occurred (1611" message.
I decided that it may be caused by the bootloader, so I fired up my Ubuntu and uninstalled it.
The problem was still persisting I tried with different firmwares, tried downgrading, stuff like that, but nothing solves it.
I also tried updating iTunes to the newest version, I managed to, but I still got the same error.
    Any thoughts on that one?
