I recently installed Five Column Springboar on my iPhone but then my iPhone started going into Safe Mode and wouldn't come out of it even if I rebooted it. I decided Five Column Springboard was the problem so I tried to delete it but when I go to Modify>Remove this message comes up - "subprocess pre-removal script returned error exit status 127" - How do I remove it because I do not want my iPhone 3G stuck in Safe Mode forever. My OS is 4.0.2 if that helps.

try and install Rock and try to uninstall five column springboard from there. I had a similar problem before but it was a different app I think.

What's Rock? I'm an average iPhone user so I don't really know much lol. Should I search it on Cydia?

Yeah. Rock is like Cydia, except faster and supposedly more buggy (but ive never had any problems with it).

Delete via SSH? Search around to find where the file is

FCSB it supposed to mork on iOS4, mine works fine. But I had this problem before the update, if you have the full version of iFile go to / and search the the Hierachy for "FCSB", there is a suprising number of files in different files. Delete all of them, reboot/respring and you should be out of safe mode.

Or use an SSH client, idk which ones have a search function.

Both, but I deleted ifile, because it was one of the three apps I installed along with icon support last night.
