hmmm.... maybe it's bad. i had twice on 1G a problem. my apps went raw and i could'nt use my iPod for playing, only for music. i wanted to take a screenshot of the screen (with no reason) and my screen went white. i was very afraid, but i've let it discharge and it worked fine... try yhat

Yesterday I installed invisibleshield and the ipod, and as you know you must use some shield spray in order to install it, is it possible that the spray got into the buttons and screwed them up?

or maybe... how about a forced turn-off. hold both home and sleep buttons togheter until the screen goes black. It's not really good(the equivalnet of getting the PCs cable out of the socket) but you could try that

    geah
    its real easy
just hold the power and home button
    (turn on the sound loud)
    untill you hear a noise
or for 6 to 5 seconds
then let go of the power
    while still hold home
for about 2-3 seconds or untill you hear another noise
    then quickly let go

If it wasn't understood my ipod is now off, so to force turn off is not an idea..

When the ipod was on, the buttons went crazy like they push them selves...

I think I'm the only one that understood the "I already know how to put it in DFU mode".

    Do you use an autobooter?

Yes I use TouchPwn but it is not the problem, the ipod just won't get into DFU mode.

    Guys, an update:
I tried to dfu with the volume up button is like the power button and putted in DFU using volume up as in power button and the home button, the ipod did get into DFU mode, I have ran touchpwn, got into white screen and stuck there, trying again, wish me luck.
    Edit:
nope, I just can't do it again.. I guess I'm the first one with a real bricked iPod Touch 2G.

There is any way to format the ipod or restore to factory settings or something like that without DFU mode?

Not if you can't connect to a computer.
