I tried it, and when I do it, my computer detects new hardware, but neither iTunes or QuickFreedom detect that my iPod is connected

. What can I do? Thanks!

First and foremost...lets start simple. Plug your Ipod Touch into a good known working USB port. Open up Itunes if it doesn't open up automatically. Check to see if your Touch is recognized by Itunes. If not, check device manager to see if there are any conflicting problems with your USB ports.

Once that is all figured out, click on redsnow again and read the directions carefully....read them before you perform the actual steps.

I hope this helps in some tiny way.

    Best Regards,

    Ranger

download redsn0w!!! helps u through the steps and is very simple! Quickfreedom results in future problems(i'm a living example).
