Holding down the required buttons I can't put my iPod touch (2G, 8GB, MB model, 3.1.3 Firmware) into DFU Mode. Before updating to 3.1.3, I could. What's up?

Hrm, don't mean to treat you as a noob, but maybe use a DFU guide? I know the like redsn0w one or whatever was like, power button for 3 seconds, power + home for like 18, and home for like 10

    Those don't work.

Plug it in and turn it off.

Press the power button for 5 seconds.

Press and hold the power+home buttons for 10 seconds. Be sure to not let go of the power button between these 2 steps.

Let go of the power button and keep holding the home button until the computer recognizes it. Be sure to not let go of the home button between the last 2 steps.
