    Hey,
Everytime i try to access the private or var folders on my Ipod Touch (so i can put winterboard themes or roms onto my ipod touch), WinSCP gets disconnected and says the connection timed out, but i can reconnect again straight away!
Can anyone help me fix this problem so i can SSH files etc. to my Ipod Touch?

    Thanks in advance!,

if the screen dims out on your iPod, Wi-Fi will disconnect. Try going into Settings > General > Auto-Lock. Set to Never.

When you're done SSHing, just turn it back on to the original time, or leave it at never if you want.

Actually a better way is to download Insomnia from Cydia, then when you want to do something using wifi that will take long enough for the ipod to go into sleep mode, just tap the app (hehe it rhymes) and if the iPod goes into sleep mode, WiFi will stay connected.

Thanks for your suggestions, but they dont seem to have worked! when i try to access the "var" folder it says that "the host is not communicating for more than 15 seconds" even when insomnia is toggled and the auto-lock is set to never!
    Any more advice? lol
    Thanks,
    Kweltan

Also i got an error that said:

Network Error: Software caused connection abort
    Error listing directory '/private/var'.
    Error changing directory to '/private/var'.

    Problem Fixed!!!!

Don't worry guys, i have fixed the problem!
I think its because i was running WinSCP on my Vista desktop computer, because when i ran it on my Windows XP laptop, it worked no problem.
So if anybody has trouble with connection errors, try running it on a computer with Windows XP!

Ived just ssh'ed a ssh-load of stuff onto my itouch already lol
    Thanks anyways!
