Can't locate .ipsw

    I can't seem to locate the .ipsw file on my computer

    i can find the c:/user/app/

    If you're on xp it's C:\Documents and Settings\user name\Application Data\Apple Computer\iTunes\iPod software updates

    Search next time, there are at least 5 threads asking for the same thing

    im on vista home no luck still mate can't find the firmware i bought it from itunes store on Saturday!

    It's C:/Users/(UserName)/AppData (it's hidden, so make sure that you can see hidden files and folders)/Local/Apple Computer

    might sound dumb how do i enable it so hidden folders are shown?

    itunes
    quicktime
    syncnotifier

    to find hidden files, just open up any window, and then go to view in the toolbar, and then system settings. something like that, sorry it has been a while since i needed that on windows.

    i can see the hidden files but can locate the firmware?

    i purchased 2.0 from itunes!
