Okay so ive had a jailbroken 1.1.1 ipod touch (8GB) for a long time now and i wanted to jailbreak it to 1.1.4 instead so i did but when i jailbroke 1.1.4 the installer would barely load and it would freeze up all the time so i never even got to use the installer... can 8 gigs hold the jailbroken ipot?
so i tried to re-downgrade to 1.1.1 and when i tried jailbreaking it with jailbreakme.com safari would just crash when i clicked install...?

please help me out i have no clue what to do at this point...

There is a lot of threads about this, and yes, "Install AppSnapp" is not working at the moment. I suggest you Upgrade to 1.1.4, and if you want to get it working well, follow the "Jailbreak and Perfect 1.1.4" guide on this site...

Or if your are REALLY desperate to jailbreak 1.1.1, and you have a lot of spare time, use the 74 step jailbreak

(I can't remember which site(s) tells you how to do it, sorry.)

    f***ing idiot.

OP, when you jailbreak after a restore, you cannot go right into installer, you have to go into Contacts and type random sh*t for 10-15 seconds, and then you may proceed to enter installer.

dude atleast you didnt do it twice like me. i had it jailbroken and was messin around in the ziphone folder, and accidentally started the jailbreak process again.

it scrolled white text and had major errors.

    that sucked.
    anyways.

but for that, find a site that has all the firmwares. then you should be able to restore to 1.1.1

    good luck
