I used the 0.3 redsn0w.exe to jailbreak my iPod Touch 2G.

I ran into this problem though:

I've tried this at least 5 times and I always get this error. My iPod goes white and stays like that until I press Home + Power together.

I use Windows Vista 64 bit. Also I restored my iPod before trying the jailbreak.

Try doing the jailbreak on a computer with Windows 32 bit, I don't know if redsn0w supports 64 bit

I thought it did support 64 bit. Oh well I'll try doing it on another computer.

    Thanks for the fast reply.

When I used .3, I had to run the program twice before it jailbroke it. I dunno if that's relevant to your problem, but it seems pretty similar to what happened to me.

is your ipod empty? that seems to be a common problem. make sure there is no music, vids, pods, apps, pics, nothing.
