I had already made it to a jailbroken iPod Touch with Firmware 1.1.3 (ipodtouchmasters).
Everything worked fine until yesterday when my iPod put itself into recovery mode.
I downgraded to 1.1.1 jailbreaked it installed oktoPrep Bsd Subsystems and openSSH, then I updated to 1.1.2. and ran the DEV Team Jailbreak. After the Jailbreak was done my iPod immediately went into recovery mode.
I tried that a several times but I just couldn't get it to work.

    PLS HELP ME!!!!!!

Wich version of Itunes are you using? if you use 7.6 is impossible to sucessfully jailbreak 1.1.2, because it brokes something in oktoprep.
Is better you use 7.5 or indipendence.
I suggest you to virtualize an XP and install on it a 7.5, for don't mess up your actual itunes version

I have an Intel MacBook Pro and have successfully jail broke to 1.1.2 then did the installer upgrade to 1.1.3. I am running iTunes 7.6 and Leopard 10.5.1. If it comes up in recovery mode you simply have to run iNdependence and that fixed it for me...

all of that aside when you say downgraded to 1.1.1 do you mena you did option+update, or option+restore. Cause to go back to 1.1.1 and JB to 1.1.2 you have to do it by restoring.

You were luky, also on another site, they say that downgrading (it's fine) and later jailbreaking a 1.1.2 with itune7.6 isn't possible.

I've been jailbreaking using both mac and vista running itunes 7.6 successfully.
But most of the time I am using vista.
