I believe you gotta change a small bit of the scripting for both apps to have them hidden.

SBSettings fails to hide these so I need to do it manually.

What program do I use and what do I change to hide my music and videos apps?

I'm sorry I don't know, but I'm curious. Why would you want to get rid of the music app on an iPod?

    Yeah you're cool Accord.....

I don't store my vids on my videos app I store em on MxTube so Videos is useless

I don't want my music app to be there because double home clicking is faster and I don't want people listening to my music mainly younger ones.

    Try using Poof from cydia..
It's the same thing as the thing in SBSettings, I'm pretty sure they just added the app to it.
But maybe the actual app will work.

Nope already detects that they're hidden although they aren't.

I just love it when something great gets screwed up for no reason what so ever

hmmm... do mobilemusicplayer flip. That will combine the misic/video icons so you only have one "ipod" app to deal with. Then try to poof it? or try putting it in a categories folder? maybe if you just made its icon invisible? or put it in a stack? or maybe if you put a lock on it? Download Lockdown from cydia. You can password protect any app you dont want other people using.

Just some ideas off the top of my head.

Well MMP Flip causes bugs and loss of features so I'm not gonna use that.

Im not gonna use Stack either.

I would put it in a Categories folder but Categories is a crappy app and it doesn't recognize it.

I also don't wanna put a password on it. I just want it gone.

    I just found this: http://www.ifans.com/forums/showthread.php?p=1902290#post1902290

Seems like MMP Flip but bug free...

Ive never personally experienced any problems with mmp flip. But the link you posted does the same thing. Ive used that method before. Just do that i guess.
Also, why not make it invisible then?
