ok, I have a jailbroken 1.1.1 16GB ipod touch. Whenever I try to put the thing into sleep mode by hitting the sleep button, the screen just goes really dim and I can see the "slide to unlock" screen. What do I do?

Turn the iPod off, and turn it back on. This happens something, its no big deal.

If that brought you to the Recovery Screen, or it did the same... read on.

If it brought you to Recovery Screen.

    1. Google iBrickr, and go to the first link (To lazy to get it)

    2. Download link near the middle of the page, for iBrickr 0.91v or something.

    3. Connect your iPod, and open iBrickr (Extract first, then run)

    4. It'll ask to boot the Phone, do that.

    5. Tadaah!

    If it does the same...

    1. Use my video to get into restore mode (Link in signature)

    2. Use the above guide to get out.

If it does the same after you follow this, reboot the iPod.

ok, I rebooted and it did the same. So there is pretty much no way to get past this without destroying everything that I just put on it. This is gonna be one hell of an application backup.

    Same thing happened to me.
all you gotta do is turn off your ipod and leave it there for a couple of minutes and then turn it back on and hopefully works.
If not do the same process a couple of times
