Cant get out of dfu

    iPhone 3GS (Black)
    Jailbroken iPhone 3g on 4.0 I accidently put it in DFU mode so i tried plugging it in to pc and jail breaking again with 4.0 but i go threw the redsnow bit and then on the screen of my phone it came up with all the normal jailbreak stuff then reboots and its back in DFU mode! Some help Please...

    How does it reboot back into DFu mode? You must be doing something crazy or wicked.. Hold down the home and power button for 10 seconds and let go, you should see the Apple Logo.

    just press home button and power button simulteneously for 30 sec or if it not workes then shift + restore to 4.0

    but i dont want to loss all my data wil it do that?

    then just get out of dfu any how u tried pressing both buttons for 30 sec

    A normal reset [ home + power buttons for 10 seconds ] is just a forced reboot, you'll still have all your data. You only lose your data in a restore.

    okay im going to need step by step insturctions... at the moment the phone is pluged into the pc and i have the itunes logo up

    i have followed every thing on the video.. iTunes logo up, turn it off, then top and bottem for 10secs wait for it to load.. then the iTunes logo comes back up again
