Cant Ftp on 1.1.4

    I can't sftp on to my ipod touch I am on a mac and im using captain FTP it keeps saying a user logging error. I know the username is root and the password is alpine. but it just wont work. I used liberty to jailbreak my ipod

    The first time you log in, it takes a while, so be sure to have your FTP client's settings set to wait longer than 30 seconds for a response. And if all else fails, use one of the many USB programs to access your iPod's files.

    well actually make sure that in your program it says taht is a SFTP connection and that you are using port 22... it should work with that...

    And make sure that SSH is turned on...as well as wi-fi...

    try using cyberduck .... i like how this program works

    OR you could dowload AFPd from Installer, then just use 'Connect to Server' in Finder. Uses the AFP protocol

    Yea I tried using cyberduck and it gives me a connection error

    just to go over the obvious, u do have ssh enabled on ur ipod right?
