    Hi guys

Im so stuck at the moment, just added loads of new music to iTunes and when finally done Ive tried to sync it to my iPod Touch 2nd gen, but I get this error message everytime:

The iPod chris' iPod cannot be synced. You do not have enough access privileges for this operation.

    What does that even mean??!?!?!?!?!?

I havent changed any settings, so can anyone help?

    Any help much appreciated, thanks

Just everytime I connect my touch to my laptop, it does the usual and starts syncing but then comes up with the above message. iTunes then let's you click ok to close the dialogue box, but the iPod hasn't synced or iTunes hasn't updated, play counts are all exactly the same and last played doesn't change.

    Any better?

    Thanks

Go to where your itunes folder is and right-click>properties>there should be somewhere where you can check permissions to read and write. Make sure you can do both.

Sign in to all your iTunes accounts. Then select Store->Authorize Computer for each account. close iTunes. Disconnect iPod. Open iTunes. Re-connect iPod. And now try again.

    Thanks

DFU restore. thats what you are probably going to have to do... you'll lose everything but itunes can put it all back on there.
