Ok so i've been having this problem for a while, i go to a download link and i click on download and it doesn't download. No matter what it is, it just refuses to download unless it's a file sharing site (netload or [PIRACY.rs] or [PIRACY.mu]) on firefox. Anything else just refuses to download. The file sharing sites sometimes don't even download.

Then use Webkit on Mac OS X. Its what Chrome is built off of. Besides, Chrome is just a Google GUI + Google's "Big Brother Eye" wrapped around Webkit.

If you want Adblocking + More features, get Glims. If you want Adblocking, Safari Adblock.

I tried that chrome alternative and i didn't like it.

I found the problem. A Program named "Speed Download" was blocking downloading from any browser basiclly dominating downloads. The downloads were corrupt when using speed download and it was known for viruses. So i had to delete all files linked to it and now it works.

Webkit is what makes Chrome. Use it on Mac OS X. Technically, since Chrome isn't available on Mac OS X, you can't really call it an alternative. Alternatives would be... Opera and Firefox (Mainstream ones that is)

Well i don't really like webkit because the full screen button is messed up and the dock gets in my way and the expand page tool isn't accecsiable to me.
