Why do you need to recover back to 3.1.3? Shift-restore back to 3.1.2, then jailbreak with blackra1n or redsn0w.

nononono....when its at 3.1.3 i try to recover back to 3.1.2 but gives me an error...it gets stuck in some kind of recover mode...everything is like n/a (names/meory)
and when i attempt to shift restore 3.1.2 it gives same error...only way is to click restore without shift and that updates to 3.1.3

You need your iPod in DFU mode.

Hold the home and power buttons for 10 seconds

Release the power button, but CONTINUE to hold the home button for another 30 seconds, or until iTunes pops up and says your iPod is in Recovery Mode and needs to be restored.

    Your screen should be black.

Then you're not holding home and power for 10 seconds.
