My touch was bought last week, MC model.

I have it attached through an Exchange account to take advantage of syncing my contacts and whatnot from Google.

Everything has been working very nicely so far, until about an hour ago.

I can read mail fine, mail pushes fine. When I click the delete mail icon it lights up like it knows I'm hitting, but it does nothing else. Does not try and delete or anything.

Any way to fix this without restoring?

    Thanks

Are you connected to the internet? You can't delete mail from an Exchange server if you're not online.

Check the setting also, try swiping the email and a delete option may come up. Or, just delete the mail via a computer?

Yes, I'm online. Everything is working correctly except for that.

I hit the trash can icon, it lights up and nothing else. Everything else is working fine, I can send and receive mail with no trouble. It was working fine up until about an hour or so ago.

Hmm, back up everything on your iPod and try a restore? That's my only other solution.

hmm, Don't really want to do that lol.

It's odd, I was deleting mail just fine, got to 1 message and after that it never worked again.

I'm jailbroken atm and have a bunch of stuff to backup so we shall see.

Okay, let me know what you end up doing. It is starting to sound like restoring is the best way to go.

Well, I deleted the mail account and readded to no avail.

I'm able to click edit and select a message that way and it deletes fine. So I dunno.

Isn't there an app that backs up all your jailbroken apps as well? Then you can just restore them?

Actually, there is. You can find it in Cydia, search for something called, PkgBackup, it backs up everything you downloaded with Cydia. Rock has a built in one.
