    Hi,

I recently got an iPod 1st gen 16G, used quickpwn, everything was great. I was having trouble with the school wireless (crazy security settings), but at home and otherwise, wifi was working well, good signals.

2 Days ago, after an overnight charge, the battery drained within 30 minutes while it was on standby. Following a recharge, I'm not unable to connect to any wireless networks, secured or otherwise.

When I look at the list of available networks, I see much fewer than before (2 vs. 15), they are all 1 bar, even when I am right next to antenna, and I can never connect.

I've reset settings for individual wireless accounts, as well as overall wireless settings, several restarts, nothing seems to work. I can't connect by entering an SSID manually either.

I haven't had it for long, but I already set up all of my music/apps/cydia apps/settings, so would appreciate any advice before having to force a restore.

    Thanks for your assistance.
