So I noticed my iPod was running kinda slowly today so I went into SysInfoPlus to see if anything was running the background, mail was.. Weird? I tried both the kill and terminate commands within SIP but it just kept relaunching in the background :/ I tried to "killall MobileMail" in terminal but to no avail.EDIT: I aslo tried forcing it closed by holding the home button.. No joy

    Any ideas?

    Things you should know:
it is in my SBSettings dock.
    it's poofed.
it will not show up in backgrounder (?)
it is using roughly 10MB of memory constantly.. which kinda sucks.
oh and push is off so its not trying to receive any mail..

    Thanks.

Did you set it as manual retrieve in the push? cuz even tho if your push is off your retrieving mail should also be on manual .
