Hey! I'm not sure how this happened (which is why I'm posting this), but suddenly, when I click on 'music' or 'videos', it says that it has none of either. Even though iTunes can see all that media, and the capacity is at the same level as it was before. So its not like it's not there, the iPod just THINKS its not there. I know this happens with SwapTunes, but I didnt install it until later when I thought that maybe that would make things better.

Does anyone have any ideas for me as to how I can get my music/video library accessible again?

    Thanks for reading!

Restore your device and sync your music again

Or go to Settings.app --> General --> Reset and reset everything
That will save you from a restore
And if it still doesnt work....
    Restore.

, also the restoring thing doesn't really work or at least not for me, its only good as a quick fix. And I've been looking for a way to ix it, personally I think you should go and exchange it, that's what I plan to do...

You don't need to restore!!! I had this same problem twice and then I found out that to fix it you:

    1. In iTunes uncheck the sync apps option
    2. Hit apply then wait for it to finish syncing
    3. Reboot
    4. Sync apps back on

What causes this is a mixup in the DRM on your iPod/iPhone so it doesn't let you access anything because it isn't sure if it's yours.
