cannt install

    hi all
    im in need of some help if anyone can please

    i just got myself a new touch and cannt get itunes to install on my laptop. i keep getting this error


    Please Register or Log in to view images



    the same type of error comes up at every stage of the install

    so i installed on my desktop and it will not show the touch in itunes.
    any help would be most grateful

    It would help us very much to know some details about the laptop and your desktop and I would try a different usb port on your desktop, if that doesn't work open up the power setting and disable any that power down the usb ports etc.

    sorry the laptop is vista home prem and desk is xp pro sp2.
    i have tried both of the usb ports on the desk top with the same result, i would not know how to disable the usb's

    also how do i know when its fully charged? as this is my first ipod, the icon in the top right hand corner is white, and the only thing that shows on the screen is when i plug it in a wall charge is a plug and the itunes icon, should i be able to see anything else? or would it mean that i need to let it charge for how long?

    Is the installer run as admin?,
    ahhh run in compatability mode

    its like it wont let me install apple programs both itunes or quicktime

    sounds like ur have a bad registy
    use a reg cleaner before installe itunes
