    Hi,

I have a balance of $10.01 on my itunes account, through a gift certificate I purchased.

When I tried to purchase the 2.0 update for my ipod (which is $9.95), I got a message: "insufficient remaining store credit".

    Any idea why?

Well it can't be because you used a gift card, because i used one.

And apple randomly took and extra dollar off my account when I updated.
    So maybe its that?

    Thanks!
I'll try to get a new gift certificate and purchase again.

Edit: It worked - thanks! The price is actually $10.76 (I guess it's $9.95 + tax).
