Cannot purchase from iTunes on iPod

    Apologies if this has been answered elsewhere...

    My iPod Touch has been working perfectly, and it has the latest software update (2.0.2). Recently, although I can browse iTunes from the app on my iPod, if I try to purchase anything I get the message "Authorization failed. Please connect to iTunes". I have tried doing a Restore, but I've still got the problem.

    Any ideas?

    i had this problem to. all i did is logged off my itunes account (on ym computer) synced it. then logged back in and it worked.

    Just tried that, but it didn't work.

    Try restoring your iPod as a new one and when you set it up you should get the iTunes account window to open again for you to set up
