Okay, so I'm a bit of a noob compared to some of you guys, I jailbroke my iPod Touch (1G, 16GB, FW 2.2.1) a few days ago. I've been SSHing a trial version of HidePod (YES I WANT TO HIDE PORN), set the permissions to 755, and for a while it doesn't even show up in the Springboard. Then, when it does, and I try to open it, the screen goes blank then goes immediately back to the Springboard.

It all seems right to me, it is located at root/Applications/Hidepod.app. I'm wondering if it's to do with my firmware?

Also it's not just HidePod. It's EVERY app I SSH.

    HALP!

when you put them in via ssh you have to check a box that says 'set owner permissions recursively' or something like that. It should be in the same window where you change permissions.
