Ok, now I have been reading a lot of threads around this problem, and it seems like there are many people that got WiFi problems after the 2.0 upgrade. However, many of these seem just to be silly router problems and such. I have a different problem: The WiFi functionality on my iPod Touch is completely dead.

When I go to Settings -> WiFi and turn it on, my WiFi keeps on searching for networks, but nothing is found. To me, it seems like the driver for the WiFi chip is not functioning - I have a hard time believing that the 2.0 upgrade actually gave me a hardware malfunction.

I have the 5A347 version of firmware 2.0, and have tried to restore a number of times without success.

    My problem is "solved"

I let customer service "fix" my problem, since I had warranty on the device. So I got a new one for free. Hope you can do the same.
