I am running 4.0 on my iPT 2nd gen MC model. I absolutely hate it and was wondering how I can downgrade. I have tried DFU mode and just regular and I get error 3194.

I am running iTunes 10, should I use itunes 9?

    Thanks!

PS. No SHSH blobs, but I was able to downgrade before about a week after iOS4 came out.

You need to have your SHSH files backed up for 3.1.2.

Well, I have been able to downgrade from 4.0 in the past. Has anything changed?

Maybe you have SHSH files for some firmware other than 3.1.2 and that's the one you downgraded to? You have your hosts file edited right?
