    iPhone 4 (Black)
    please search next time

    restore you ipod

    1. go into itunes
    2. plug in your ipod
    3. go to you ipod's tab on the left
    4. click restore

now you will be upgrade (if your not already) to latest firmware (1.1.4) if you would like to downgrade to a look in my signature.

then just jailbreak your ipod. look around to find a good way to jailbreak. (if you want to)

    youtube fix

thanks for the info but I've seen a fix for the iPhone involving SCP, but it involves some activation files (which are not on the touch of course). Is there anyway to get this fix or one similar to it to work on the iPod touch???

If it works on iphone it will probably work on ipod. Is there
    a link to the method?

iPhone youtube fix on iPod touch

I tried and my iPod entered "a state of emergency". I had to plug it in and iTunes had to fix the files. This is weird because I know that they have the same basic operating platform. The link will follow. I will soon be at a computer and off my touch.
