Check your firewall and sercurity settings. Make sure iTunes and the software update service are both allowed access. If not then go ahead and post again, i will try and fix your problem

    Ok some questions:
    1) What OS are you running?
2)When was you able to connect, a week.....2 week etc?
3)What version of iTunes are you using?

Try updating and if that doesn't work try going into Store via the taskbar or whatever you Windows users call it, and then log out. Once you've doen that, try makign a new account, checking that all your country settings are configured correctly. Then if it works, log out of that and back into yours.
