Cannot connect to iTunes store.

    I have a first generation iPod Touch. I am running firmware version 2.2 and it is jailbroken. My wifi works perfectly fine. Safari has no problems browsing on the iPod Touch. Youtube works as well. However, when I try to access the App Store, everything goes wrong. I have a full connection yet it says "Cannot connect to iTunes store." What should I do? I've tried resetting the Network Settings and rebooting the iPod Touch. I'm not sure what else I can do. I don't want to restore the iPod touch. I don't even know if that would work.
