Cannot buy/update from iTunes Store!! Help Please!

    Hi, I have iTunes 7.7.1.11 and when I try to buy/update an application, I get the error:
    "We could not complete your iTunes Store request.
    The network connection timed out.
    Make sure your network settings are correct and your network connection is active, then try again."

    I checked my network/firewall, and everything is fine. I can (obviously), access the internet, and browsing through iTunes Store is no problem, I just can't download.

    Does anyone know what I can do??? Thanks!

    same here
    i have issues with upgrading from app store
    but i just go on my computer then resync
    that's about all you can do

    Update to iTunes 8 and then try it. Sometimes those things can just happen. Happens to me every now and again. You can also try restarting your internet connection (shut off router/unplug from modem for about a minute) and then try again. Hope it all works out for the best.
