    Hi all,

I'm having a problem with my iPod Touch. I cannot add songs, videos, or anything else to the iPod from iTunes. When trying to do so, I get the error messages:

"The iPod "iPod" cannot be synced. The disk could not be read from or written to."

"Attempting to copy to the disk "iPod" failed. The disk could not be read from or written to."

The thing is, I have no problem on my parents' computer; this only occurs when I try using my laptop - wouldn't be so bad if I wasn't away from home more often than not. I guess I should add that, on my laptop, iTunes DOES recognize my iPod (appears in the left hand list), and it will charge the iPod.

I tried everything the Apple support site says (before actually going to the site, only to find that I had already tried everything they were suggesting). I've restarted, restored the iPod, updated the iPod, reinstalled iTunes, completely uninstalled then installed iTunes again, asked it nicely, bought it chocolates...

Does anyone know of this problem and can suggest possible solutions?

    Thank you much!
