I only need to use it now left my memory stick at home. I wouldn't mind playing my tracks/videos on the xbox too other than connecting to the network and streaming them.

Xbox won't work with the iPod touch or iPhone.

Ive checked out memory stick and flash drive in the app store but you need wifi to send it to/from and my Internet is down at the mo so that's why I'm trying to move this file.

Wont work, I would suggest just using a pc to stream the files. Keeps you from having to keep plugging items in.

Or get a cheap 4GB USB stick and leave it plugged in just for that. They're under $10 now.

You can plug in the iPod, open it in My Computer (and maybe Finder) and you will be able to drag and drop files onto it. It should be that easy.
