Hey, i'm thinking about buying an iPhone 1G on ebay without service. So i can use it as an Ipod touch with a camera! And just use Wi-Fi. Are there any problems with that? Its possible right?

You need to jailbreak so it bypasses sim card activation.

You can, but you will get tons of annoying activation messages I believe.
