Can you turn your iPod Touch into a wireless router

    I'm going to my be at one of my cousins house for a month and I'm bringing my PS3 with me, they have Internet but wired only, is there anyway I can plug my Ipod Touch in their computer and turn it into a wireless router so I can play on my wirelessly PS3?

    I really don't think it's possible. I know you can do this with an iphone, but only using the cellular data network, not a hardline.

    Yeah you can do this with the iphone because they got the 3g network but not ipod

    No... First of all he's saying if he can use his computer's internet on the iPod and make the iPod broadcast a signal which is currently not possible.

    You can however make a computer into a wireless hotspot, IF it has a wireless card. Otherwise, no.

    the ps3 has an ethernet port why not just plug it in?

    Just get a longer DSL cable or drag PS3 and modem right next to each other.

    PS:Is it possible to use a ipod to boost a wifi signal?

    If your relatives ring up there ISP they could easily get a free router out of them.

    MYWI from rock store it can make a wifi spot from my experience with it
