I would also like to know. Apple should add this as an official update to beat zune in the wireless syncing field.

while the ipod doesn't have bluetooth there is no reason why apple couldn't make the ipod touch sync over wi-fi

Technically it could sync over wifi, but I don't see apple adding this feature anytme soon. I have not heard of any programs that allow the touch to sync over wifi.

sync over bluetooth is a rediculous thought...too slow and error prone

and even if ipod had bluetooth, wifi is faster and more reliable anyways

Whilst it's a niceish feature to have on your Touch there are downsides...

Even at it's peak (54Mb/s) it's under a 1/4 of the speed of USB 2.0 (480Mb/s), and it'd drain your batteries VERY quickly.

I guess it is hard to see that I was using a little bit of SARCASAM. I was simply making fun of the people that keep bringing up the idea that their might still be a chance that bluetooth is in the touch, even though its been taking apart and nothing found, as well as people from Apple saying its not their as well. Personally, I could care less if my iPod could sync through WiFi, especially just for the reason that the Zune can do it. The Touch is 100000x better than the Zune, or anything that comes out of Microsoft for that matter. Other than that, have a great night
