Well.. Im struggling a bit.. probably getting a bit tired so forgive me if this has been asked and answered.

    On a mac. Jailbroken touch.

I need to be able to put documents. ie from word or pages into my touch.
What would be the best way. To use notes, a pdf file, or is there something I have missed.

I have notes installed and the pdf viewer. (Also having problems being able to send the pdf files over to the itouch) I cant seem to be able to view it as a directory. Help on that would also be nice.

    Thanks gang

simple - change it from .doc to .txt, then upload it to an esy to acces folder on your ipod. then install mobile text edit to view them and mobile finder to acces them. both of those are really useful anyway

textedit- compose documents on the go
finder- find/manage files on your ipod

    There's an even easier way.

The iPod touch will open any word documents sent to it as email attachments. Simply email it to yourself, or if you have IMAP email access on your touch just copy it into the draft emails section of you email client. It will then sync onto your touch.

The word documents then appear as blue boxes at the end of the email on the touch, just tap them and the document will open. I use this all the time to read documents sent to me.

I think the touch can also view excel spreadsheets sent this way, but i've yet to try it.
