Can you jailbreak 2.2.1?

    oh thank god!!!! Ok how do I get it in dfu mode? I could do it before I updated to 2.2.1 but now I can't? Help! Lol thanks

    Wrong. Hold the 2 buttons for 10 seconds, let go of the power button while still holding the home button and continue to hold the home button for about 8 seconds. then let go. btw the ipod should be connected to the computer while doing this.

    I did but then it shows the connect to iTunes screen.

    Hold both buttons for 10 seconds, then release the hold button, but keep holding the home button for about 20 seconds. That's probably overestimating it though. Also, you could try to search next time.

    you mean on a 1G? just run quickpwn, it tells you when to hold and when to release.
