Can you edit your ipod's boot screen?

    I know you can just use winpwn, and load a custom one, but i already pwned my ipod with quickpwn, and i really dont want to have to restore again. I also dislike the pineapple it adds.

    yh i already have pwned my ipod enough times, i dont want to do it again just for an icon, i am getting bored with the pineapple, maybe i'll change it when/if i jailbreak 2.0.2

    I know with the other versons of winpwn you could make a custom image without rejailbreaking it but i dont know if you can do it with 2.0

    is there any location on the ipod where they have the image that i can just replace? i already looked around with winscp but didnt find anything. then again, i dont really know what i should look for, and where.

    Nah theres no way of doing it with SHH, you could possibly do it with quickpwn

    Im pretty sure you need to make a custom firmware (winpwn or quickpwn) and then restore with it. Thats the only way I believe...
