My Auntie has an iPhone, and she is wondering if you can buy applications through the pay as you go credit?

If you can do this reply back quick and send me a method.

What do you mean by pay as you go credit? Is that a credit card? Or money/minutes she has on her sim card?

I mean through the phone credit. Pay as you go credit. NOT pay monthly.

You can use them to connect to 3G which will eat them pretty quickly. Otherwise you can't use your minutes to buy apps of the appstore. In iTunes you have an actual account where it has all of your info, so you have to use that in order to make purchases.

No you cant I know what you mean as Im from the UK - US users probably wont. You have to have an iTunes account or you can buy App store vouchers from major retailers such as HMV and Argos.

Ohh, thanks. Atleast Apple could do is actually let us buy apps through the pay as you go credit. Alot of people don't have a credit card. My aunty will have to buy an iTunes card then.

EDIT: She has an iTunes account. But she doesn't want to put the credit card on it.

she needs an additional option to buy apps. She doesn't want debit or credit card.
