sorry if this sounds like a dumb question. but if the new pwnage tool is only for macs (when it comes out) can windows users do the jb on a borrowed mac and still have it recognised when connecting to iTunes on the PC? i thought i read somewhere that the formatting was different and that macs can read the windows setup ipod but not the other way round. is that right? if someone could explain in simple terms that would be appreciated.

    thanks

It doesn't matter for the iPod touch I use a pc and have jailbreak with pwnage tool on a mac and still able to use on a pc. I had a old iPod nano and it was like that but not the iPod touch

Would it work on a Tiger 10.4.8 installed on VMware on Windows?

or when pwnage comes out, someone with a mac could make a custom firmware and upload it here

I think this might not apply to the ipod touch because from what i remember the ipod touch actually has its own mini OS installed on it? not sure though so to answer your question, yes?
