can we change the boot images without restoring?

    by just using winpwn? i want to say i heard it somewhere but i cant remember. and i just jb 2.0 and have stuff on here, but no boot images.

    nope. the images are in the firmware so you need to restore

    It worked in 1.1.4, so I don't see why not in 2.0.
    If you are using WinPwn, plug in your Touch, choose the 2.0 file and click "Custom Logos", although I haven't tried this yet.

    but then theyre put in the firmware and then you have to restore

    2.0 might be different ? i Might try making another ispw , so it doesnt corrupt your iPod Touch / iPhone ..

    soo.. is it doable? i never pwned until the 2.0 release, so i wouldnt know how to..

    i just would like to not have to resync everything ive just finished.

    The main question is, can i UPDATE with the CUSTOM firmware that has the boot images from an already pwned touch?
