Can using a AC adapter to charge your iPod damage it?

    As long as you fully charge the battery and don't unplug the iPod in the middle of it charging, it won't harm your battery.

    Check at the back of your ipod for voltage and amp rating then compare it's stats with the info located on the charger. If the specifications match or is off by a little bit you should be perfectly fine. I always unplug when it's half way though and had my ipod for awhile and never seen a problem .. yet though so i might take the previous users info into consideration. Charging via usb charger adapter is no different than using the power from your computers usb port. Take the same precautions as you would when plugging into the computers usb port.
