I purchased a touch recently and started building up my apps library. After I had started buying/using some of my own, my brother authorized his existing apps for my ipod, so I've begun using his as well.

My problem is: the apps authorized by my brother work, but the ones I purchased from the itunes store do not. Same goes with music I purchased long, long ago from the itunes store. I tried authorizing my own computer and my library says that it is; I also restored and re-sync'd my ipod.

How can I use my itunes-purchased apps and music?

If it is piracy, then why does apple have the Home feature on itunes? We are brother and sister and live within the same Home...

I'm pretty sure you're gonna need to be all on the same account for Home Sharing. If you want to use someone else's apps, you need to be authorized on their account, if you want to use your apps, you need to be authorized on your account. It's as simple as that. You can't use two different accounts because it's piracy. You can just take a friend's account and then use their app without paying.

It's not piracy. All u have to do is connect your iPod and authorize both accounts on it

    De-activate then re-activate?
