So I completely deleted the var/run folder by accident and it removed a bunch of files that my system uses. I'm not sure what all these files do exactly but I can tell you one of them definitely resolves ip addresses because now I cannot access the internet. :/

So would somebody be so kind as to give me these files or at least send a list / pic of the file names in this directory?

    I have iPod touch 3G 3.1.2 firmware.

    Thanks.

Come on. Surely there is someone that knows what iFile even is and can go to var/run and look this up for me real quick.

Hi thanks for responding! Is there any code that is contained in any of these files? Particularly mdnsresponder?

You can just restore, and get everything back, so long as you know how to back things up.

FML. LOL. I don't want to restore, but it doesn't look like I have much of an option. Thank God Rock backs up all the apps you download.
