    Hi guys,

I'm gonna be restoring my ipod touch pretty soon, and I've heard about aptbackup backing up my Cydia apps, however I'm still not sure on what it really does.

I know that I have to download it, backup, sync with itunes, restore ipod, redownload apt backup and then restore from aptbackup, but what actually happens after that? Do all of my apps appear back on my springboard, or do I have to go into Cydia to do something else?

    Thanks

No your apps will be reinstalled. But I wouldn't suggest doing it going from 2.2.1 to 3.0.

i have NO idea. instead i bought PkgBackup. its cool cause it save all your apps in your contacts, wicth then syncs to iTunes. then when i upgraded to 3.0, i just re-installed it and it backed up EVERYTHING! i forget how much i paid for it (i think 1.99)
