    the display just shows the itunes-sign and datacable-sign ... looks like it is in the disk mode or something...

    this is what i already tried:
    1) try to retore with itunes - after the retoring process was finished I got every time "Error 6"
    2) i removed all devices of aplle inc. (itunes, ipod driver etc.) and installed newer versions - no sucsess - not able to restore
    3) i pressed home and sleep/wake bottom 10 sec until the ipod turned off. than i switched on again by pressing the home botton. I connected the pod to itunes but the restoring failed again
    4) connecting to itunes while holding the home button
    5) this autodown-thing, didn't woked either --> http://youtube.com/watch?v=KVSiSz3T1lY&feature=related

    So, what can i do?
    could it be, that something happen with the ipod hardrive? kinda scratch or something?

    system is windows vista

    (i'm sorry for my bad english)

    Try to use iLiberty, if that doesn't work use Ziphone. Althoug not recommended.

    But it can help save your iPod.

    Put it into DFU mode with Ziphone. And then try to jailbreak it with the program, if that works then if you want to leave it do so, If not then just restore in iTunes again.

    When the pod is connected to itunes it always says:

    YOUR IPOD IS IN WAITING-MODE. PLEASE RESTORE IPOD.

    but, as i mentioned, Iim not able to but it back/restore it
