Just got my iPod Touch today for Xmas..yeah! Was trying to download photos from My Pictures but do not see an option for picking and choosing which pictures within an entire folder I would like to install.

Is there any way around loading an entire folder in Photos?

    thanks everyone.. and Merry Xmas!

Nope. You'll soon discover what we all have, that due to Apple's idiocy, the iPod Touch is almost useless as a picture/photo viewer.

what??????Why??? That sucks! I suppose, if you really want to go out of your way, you could create a folder specficially for your iPod photos, but then is it easy enough to delete the ones you don't want?

What else about it sucks for viewing photos??? What a bummer

When synced through iTunes, the photos are resized to fit the touch, so when you zoom in, it's pixelated.

Ok, so viewing photos on this is less than ideal. For those who do, have you set up a distinct and separate folder for loading your ipod photos?

Also, once loaded, where do you delete from?

once loaded, you cant delete any photos unless you physically delete one photo from your folder on your computer and resync it with itunes. Apple really got stupid with the photos option.

Well, you see Macs come with iPhoto for managing your photos so you can easily sync albums from iPhoto. On the Windows side, since there is no default picture management application or none that are installed by default on everyone's computer, Apple has to go with the dumbed down method that you're stuck with... It's part of the benefit of the Mac - the control of both hardware & software...

The amount of spin in this post is simply amazing. Anyone who can read this without laughing out loud needs to be lauded.

Well, truth is, I love my iPod's (past and present) but won't be switching to a MAC simply to view pix of my kids....just keep the music coming, I guess, huh?
