can not ssh to my touch?

    i had a question with winscp. i am not able to connect to my ipod touch. host: 192.168.1.6, username: root, and password is alpine.

    any idea why? thanks again

    Make sure the port number is 22 and make sure your iPod is turned on and on the home screen.

    Maybe the wifi is firewalled, i've had little luck getting ssh to work with any form of encryption

    Make sure SSH is enabled

    thanks! i download BSD and OPEN SSH, but winscp still wouldnt connect. then i found out that my ipod touch was timing out(auto-lock) in 1 minute. change it to never and i was able to connect. thanks!
